A creative design process between both client and designer
Work directly with Kirsty herself to create your own special piece that is individually designed and sewn up just for you. This process is for all outfits including bridal, ball gowns, bridesmaids, prom gowns and any other special event you have! All garments will be made to measure and the bespoke design service ensures that every outfit is uniquely created for each client's personal style. The client will be included in the creative process from the first sketch to the finished garment, ensuring that we create not only the perfect outfit for their special day or event but also one that they will feel comfortable in and be able to wear going forward.
The process of making the perfect outfit will include a primary consultation and approximately 2-4 fittings. In the consultation we will bring your ideas alongside our range of fabrics and begin to create a first sketch of the outfit before the exciting process really begins!

All garments are made by hand to a high standard using quality fabrics in the studio and so they will inevitably come at a cost. Each creation has its own unique cost depending on the complexity of the design and fabrics chosen. We work with our clients budget and so please reach out to discuss your options, no matter what your budget is. Bespoke bridal tends to start from £1000 for the simpler designs, and evening/occasion from £250.
A 50% deposit will be taken after you have confirmed your design. The remaining balance will be paid on collection.
We recommend that brides begin this process at least 6 months prior to their wedding day to ensure availability and to schedule in your fittings. You will need to attend 2-4 fittings over the course of the process so that we can fit the outfit accordingly.
For evening & occasion wear pieces we can work to a tighter schedule and so please reach out to us no matter how close the event is so that we can see what we can do.
During the first consultation the client will be invited to visit Kirsty in the studio to look through samples, archives of designs, fabric books and colours for inspiration. They will then discuss what they are looking for and show any inspiration that they already have. This is a really relaxed and fun experience to imagine your design, whilst also giving Kirsty a clear idea of what will suit the client's style and preferences.
After this first meeting Kirsty will create a range of sketches along with fabric swatches so that the client can see the design brought to life. Once the final design has been chosen, a toile will be made up ( a mock up of the final design ) and the client will invited for a first fitting to check the sizing.
From then, depending on how well the fit was, the design will be made up in the final fabric and another fitting will be done. Along the way it is a great opportunity for the client to see the design come to life and we can make small adjustments before they are final.
Once the outfit is finished, the client will be invited into the studio to try it on for the final time and take it home.
Fittings are important for both the client and designer to visualise how the outfit will fit, move, and feel on the body. We recommend wearing nude coloured lingerie, and an appropriate bra similar to one you may wear on your wedding day. If you are thinking of buying a certain style of lingerie for the day then certainly take it along to your fittings to see if it will work.
Another thing to bring will be shoes. The height of shoe is more important towards your final fittings as this is when the length of hem will be decided, but certainly bring some different height choices in the beginning so you can play around with ideas.
We love a project to change up a piece that we have made so if you want to alter your outfit after the special day to create a new one then do reach out to us! Please note there will be an additional fee for this.
Yes, absolutely! We can work via video calls and send you instructions on how to take measurements.
