Born in the Scottish Highlands and graduated with a BA Honours in Fashion Design from the former School of textiles in the Scottish Borders. For Kirsty, Art and design has been in her blood since she can remember and there was never a doubt that she would follow a path in it. Heavily inspired by intricate patterns, 1920's glamour and beautiful fabrics, her sketchbooks are filled with feminine and sophisticated designs.
Kirsty Elizabeth Studio was created from a passion of not only creativity and design, but also on the vision of exceptional quality of customer service. It was always at the front mind when Kirsty was building the brand that she wanted her clients to feel special, appreciated and most importantly included. Bespoke dressmaking is such a personal experience between both the designer and the client. The client must be included in the process for the end product to be perfect.
Kirsty recently moved the brand back to Scotland after living in the South of France for a period of time where her designs naturally took on a touch of the French style: relaxed, classic and elegant. All garments are now lovingly hand made by Kirsty in her studio in Peebles using the finest quality of fabrics from family mills throughout the UK and the most delicate and beautiful lace from some of the best Leaver's loom weaving mills in France.
